Ivan

Ivan Rosa, 62 of Twinsburg, passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side on Friday, April 26, 2024.

He was born June 21, 1961, in Youngstown, the son of Anastacio and Isabel Hernandez Rosa.

Ivan worked as a social worker for over 30 years, most recently as a C.C.B.H.C. project director at Community Counseling Center.

In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting coins and comic books. He found immense joy in feeding others. Everyone who knew Ivan knows he was a wonderful spouse, father, brother, uncle, giver, lover of people and genuine. He left joy wherever he went and saved and changed the lives of many people.

He was the favorite everything and loved the Lord with all his heart. Ivan was a member of Destiny Church in Twinsburg.

He is survived by his wife, the former Diana Coleman, whom he married on July 10, 1993; two sons, Ivan Christopher Rosa and Elijah Joseph Rosa; three siblings, Tito (Linda) Rosa, Lilly (Kevin) Shellenberger and Ruby (Rev. Rodney) Robinson and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the funeral home.
