Porferio Sale Baba, a beloved resident of Panabo City, Davao del Norte, passed away on September 10, 2019, at the Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City. Born on August 19, 1965, in Guihing, Hagonoy, Davao del Norte, Porferio lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication. He was 54 years old.

For 29 years, Porferio made Panabo City his home, where he was known as a self-employed entrepreneur who diligently worked from 1993 until his passing. Though he never completed his formal education beyond high school, Porferio's keen sense of business and his love for driving and travel allowed him to build a fulfilling life. He was an active member of the Drivers' Organization and was a devout Roman Catholic.

Porferio found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid videoke enthusiast, loved spending time with friends, enjoying a drink, and playing basketball. His favorite music ranged from rock to love songs, reflecting his dynamic personality. Despite his tough exterior, those who knew him well remember him as a handsome, lovable man with a heart of gold.

He is survived by his loving wife, Paulina T. Baba, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage. Together, they raised four children: daughters Rio Lane Tapangan Baba, Rio Lynne Tapangan Baba, and Aubrey Maye Tapangan Baba, and son Rio Paulo Tapangan Baba. He was also a proud grandfather to one grandchild. Porferio is also survived by his father, Nazario Villamor Baba, Sr.; his siblings, Milagros Sale Baba, Salome Sale Baba, Judith Sale Baba, and Nazario Sale Baba, Jr. He was predeceased by his mother, Antonina Sale Baba.

Porferio will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, love for his family, and zest for life will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
